Rebels Netball Club "A" Grade Team

Sponsorship

As Rebels is a large club, there is significant amount of running costs that are associated with the club. Therefore we are looking for any type of sponsorship that businesses/people could offer to help with these costs

 

We are looking to buy new drink bottles this year so there is an opportunity for a small sponsor to pay for these and add their logo and advertising for all players.

 

Also if any businesses are interested in investing a little more then we could discuss the possibility of getting player polo shirts for all seniors that they could wear when they arrive at the courts each Saturday again with their logo and advertising on it.

 

We are happy to discuss any other ideas that businesses may have in regards to sponsorship as we would appreciate the support.

Rebels 2nd Annual Market Day

Rebels 2nd Annual Market Day – Sunday May 3rd 2009

 

The 2nd Annual Rebels Market day will be held on May 3rd 2009 at the Calwell Netball Courts from 10-2pm.

 

Last year was a great success, but we would like to make this year’s event even better.

 

If you would like to have a stall at the Market Day all it costs is $10 for the day. Some tables are available but will be “first in best dressed”

 

We are looking for Volunteers for the day to work on the BBQ, the front gate and general proceedings for the day. If you would like to volunteer during the day please let Katrina know.

 

We are also looking for prizes for Raffles. If you know someone who owns a business that may be able to offer raffle items, advertising, donate gift vouchers, etc it would be most appreciated.

Special Notice for Senior Players

Senior Players – please read the following requirements: 

1. If you are a senior player who has not bought a bodysuit you must turn up to rego on February 24th so you can be sized to allow us time to order any new bodysuits needed.
2. If you do not want wish to participate in umpiring this season you will need to pay a one off fee of $30 when registering. This will cover the costs of paying for an umpire from TNA.

We still require some people to be on a roster as there is physically not enough umpires for every senior team. So the more people who volunteer to umpire the less often everyone has to do it. You will either be umpiring a lower grade Senior game or Intermediate game.

Uniforms

Uniform items available for sale are:

• Shirts (old style) – - $30.00 (medium / large sizes only)
• Visors – - $ 6.00
• Drink Bottles – - $ 6.00
• Socks – - $ 6.00
• Jumpers – - $35.00
• Headbands – - $ 6.00
• Training Tops – - $ 5.00 (large sizes only)
• Rugby Jumpers – - $10.00 (limited stock)

Training / Grading /Season

Training this year will again be held on Tuesday nights at the Calwell Netball Courts. 

• Juniors – - 5:30pm to 6:30pm
• Intermediates – - 6:30pm to 7:30pm
• Seniors – - 7:30pm to 8:30pm

The first 2 rounds of grading games will be on the 27/03/09 & 03/04/09, then we will break for school holidays and the normal season will commence on the 2/05/09.

Registration

Registration this year will be held on Tuesday 24th February, from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Calwell Netball courts.

 

• Netta (Years 2 & 3) – - $140-00 (includes skirt hire)
• Juniors / Intermediates – - $150-00 (includes skirt hire)
• Seniors – - $150-00 plus $90
• body suit purchase or $30 hire

All players that have paid the rego fees in full before the start of the season 2/05/09, will receive a pair of New Rebels Socks.

 

Both Registration forms are required to be completed and returned on Registration night. The second form is a new requirement from Netball Australia and must be returned prior to the start of the netball season or players will not be able to take the court, as they will not be cover by insurance.
